SAM I AM: BRANDON BULLDOGS GET THEIR COACH

Brandon High School made a big splash Wednesday, hiring one of the youngest and brightest stars in the high school coaching ranks in Mississippi.

Sam Williams was formerly announced as new head football coach and athletic director of the Brandon Bulldogs, inheriting a program with great facilities, a cupboard of talent, and fans that are ready to bring back the glory days of Bulldog Football.

The main force behind bringing Williams back to his native Rankin County is Brandon High School Principal Bryan Marshall. Marshall was at Pelahatchie High School when Williams began his head coaching career for the Chiefs, and the two have remained close.

Marshall joined Jason Scarborough on the KDMC Guest Line to talk about the hire, what are the expectations for Williams and his staff, and what fans can expect under the new Bulldog head coach.
