Ole Miss hit the practice fields today to officially open 2021 spring football drills. The Rebels won 4 of their final 5 games, including a 26-20 win over #7 Indiana in the Outback Bowl and return a solid mix of veterans and young talent. Ole Miss returns 78% (66 of 85) of its lettermen from last season, including 19 position starters in 2021.
One of those position starters receiving a lot of preseason attention (and rightfully so) is Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral. Corral, who was 3rd in the SEC and 7th nationally in passing yards and passing touchdowns, is already part of the Heisman Trophy talk ahead of the 2021 season.
