WATCH: Ole Miss’ Davis, Shuler talk postgame about win in Starkville

Defense did the trick in each win this season and it did so again on Tuesday night, as the Ole Miss Rebels pulled away in the 2nd half and came away with a 64-46 road win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Humphrey Coliseum.

Devontae Shuler led the way for Ole Miss with 22 points while Jarkel Joiner added 12 points, 8 of which came in the second half. Ole Miss has now won 11 of the last 15 against MSU, and the the 46 points surrendered tonight were the fewest the Rebels have allowed in the rivalry since Feb. 25, 1996.

Ole Miss head basketball coach Kermit Davis and senior guard Devontae Shuler met with the media after the game to discuss the win. Video is courtesy of Ole Miss Sports Productions.
