We’re already to episode 3 of season 3 of Audibles (can you believe it?) This weekend, we sit down with former Mississippi State quarterback who later become head coach for his alma mater, Rockey Felker.
Coach Felker has put on a lot of hats in his life for Mississippi State University. His 1974 football team was the first to win 9 games in nearly three decades for the Bulldogs, a year where we won several honors for his play at quarterback. He later became the head football coach at Miss State, and served as assistant coach for a number of college football programs. Eventually, Coach Felker made his way back to Mississippi and finished his career in athletics administration in 2017.
Hear his story of growing up in Tennessee, the son of a coach and avid Mississippi State football fan, the memories of playing for the Maroon and White, the battles he and his family have faced personally, and so much more. Here is a little sneak peek of what’s to come this weekend.
