The long anticipated Season 3 premiere of “Audibles with Jason Scarborough” is finally here. And as we announced earlier this week, the show can now be seen on six TV stations across the Magnolia State. Our guest for the premiere is former trial lawyer juggernaut, Dickie Scruggs. Scruggs takedown of the asbestos industry and big tobacco highlight his incredibly decorated legal career, also illuminated by his fight against the insurance companies in America after denying to pay claims to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Scruggs career was colorful and ambitious, and ambition at times can lead us down the wrong roads, as Scruggs was sent to federal prison for some time. He opens up about that time in prison, how he’s found new purpose in life helping others now as a free man, and so much more. Hear about his life growing up in Brookhaven, Mississippi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, his time as a Navy pilot, and what led him to pursue a legal career. One of the great legal minds of our time joins us for part one of a two-part interview this weekend for our show premiere.
You can watch Audibles a variety of ways on stations all across the state. WXXV FOX 25 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast will air the show at 11AM on Saturday, while their NBC affiliate will have the show at 1AM Sunday morning. You can also catch the show Sunday at noon on WXXV’s CW 25 station. In Meridian, watch the show at 11AM on Saturday on WGBC FOX 30. And Sunday, watch in Jackson on WJTV Newschannel 12 and Hattiesburg on WHLT CBS 22, both at 11:05pm Sunday night.
